The Curse of Morg Brings Halloween to skate. Through November 3

EA and Full Circle have kicked off their Halloween event in skate., with The Curse of Morg available now through November 3. The limited-time event gives the Isle of Grom a spooky makeover, turning it into the Isle of Morg with plenty of Halloween activities, collectibles and rewards to unlock. The event is free for everyone, so players won’t need Rip Chips or the skate.Premium Pass to join in.

Players can take a Water Taxi over to the island, which has been covered in thick fog, nighttime lighting, skeletons and dying plants. The changes aren’t limited to the island either, as Morg’s curse has also spread across San Van. Once the event wraps up, both areas will return to normal.

During the event, players can earn Morg’s Tribute by completing special Bounties, collecting Glyphs of Morg and taking part in various activities. The Tribute can then be used at Altars of Morg scattered around San Van and the island to unlock free rewards, including the Ghosted Deck, Glowing Gourd Mask and Sir Spooksalot T-Shirt. Each offering gives players a reward they haven’t already received until everything at that particular Altar has been collected.

The Extravert Shop is also getting into the Halloween spirit with a rotating selection of cosmetics available for purchase using San Van Bucks. These include a Leatherface skin, Halloween-themed flash tattoos, skateboard decks, costumes and other items, with the selection changing throughout the event.

Along with the Halloween festivities, Full Circle is running a limited-time technical test for the new Proximity Voice Chat feature through November 3. Players on the island can communicate with other skaters nearby using position-based voice chat, making it easier to talk and hang out with others during a session. It’s a feature the community has been asking for, and this test gives players an early chance to try it out.
