Street Fighter 6’s Arjun Can Move the Earth, Control the Wind, and Apparently

The next character coming to Street Fighter 6is Arjun, a police officer on the lam for a crime he didn’t commit. Now, thanks to a gameplay trailer, we have our first look not only at his in-game model but also at how he fights.

Arjun enters as a man built like DK Metcalf, with abs on abs and massive muscles to spare. Unsurprisingly, the game makes good use of his size to build his move set. He is physically imposing, with many attacks that use his brute strength to cause serious problems for his opponents.

Most notably, there is a brutal-looking assault where Arjun picks his opponent up and stretches their upper and lower body back and apart from each other. The move is so painful-looking that the first time you see it, it’s easy to forget you’re not watching a Mortal Kombat trailer and that the victim on the receiving end is not about to find themselves ripped in half for a gruesome fatality.

Don’t think that the big fella is all brawn, however. This is still a Street Fighter game, which means that he also has some special abilities at his disposal, too, and shows that off with some element bending. From channeling the wind into force attacks to raising a giant spike of rock out of the ground to damage his foes, Arjun brings a variety of attacks to the table and looks like he could be a very fun fighter to come to grips with.

Arjun arrives at the Street Fighter arena on October 13 on all platforms.
