BlockChance Offers 1,000 KH/s Solo Mining Without a Dedicated PC for Just $50

Bitcoin mining typically brings to mind specialized hardware, substantial power consumption, and large mining operations. The BlockChance Bitcoin Ticket Miner, available for $49.97 (MSRP $149.99) through Sept. 10, takes a much smaller and more probability-driven approach.

BlockChance is a standalone solo-mining device that generates what the company describes as mining "lottery tickets." Instead of steadily earning small fractions of Bitcoin, the objective is to successfully mine a full Bitcoin block. The tradeoff is important: the probability of doing so is extremely low.

The device provides a 1,000 KH/s hashrate, which the manufacturer says is about 18 times higher than typical ticket miners. Its stated estimated probability is approximately one in 930 million per block, one in 6.5 million per day, and one in 17,800 annually, or roughly 0.0056%. Actual results can change with Bitcoin network difficulty and hashrate fluctuations.
